Glittery Pumpkins
I like to do lots of arts and crafts with my daughter. Some days are low craft days and we just color or do water color. Other days we finger painting. Last week one day we managed to paint, play with playdoh and stamp all in one day. It was a good day!
Today we glittered pumpkins.
First I set everything up.
Next I quickly tried to explain to Tesla that she couldn’t throw the glitter.
Then I let her pick what ever colors she wanted for her pumpkin. At first I tried to stear her toward the colorsĀ that I would choose. But then decided it really was up to her.
I think she did a nice job. I painted the glue on but she chose the colors and put the glitter on with help from me only after emptying out the containers.
Here’s mine.
To me honest, I kind of like hers better. Funny that at 2.5 she has such great color concept. I kind of expected it to be more rainbowesque, but the colors go together nicely.
Great job, honey.

I’ve been meaning to do it. What a fun thing to do with the kids. Do you have glitter all over the house now? =)
I really like that technique! Thank you Anne a whole lot for telling this! I personally always absolutely love collecting brand new craft ideas
